Task: Design a visual representation of the new product line Atage that Milliken Hospitality launched at the HD 2006 Show.
As stated in the MC2 press release, "[The display used] a tremendous amount of hanging fabric in order to create a huge presence, show off the new product line and meet the budget requirements. The exhibit was branded with a giant tension fabric sign at the entrance. The fabric banners were hung from a large lighting rig and designed in layers to add dimension. The main corridor was lined with printed fabric banners that showed off multiple patterns from the new product line along with graphic panels with each individual pattern. The rear area of the exhibit was enclosed with circular, layered banners that carried background images from the product line. The rear also served as a hospitality area where drinks were served and casual meetings where held. The flooring was actual product that was patterned to work in conjunction with the hanging banners.
"The exhibit was given the Best Booth award at the HD 2006 and the Atage product launch was awarded Best New Product. Milliken was estatic when Steve Wynn of the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas purchased all the flooring right out of the exhibit the minute the show ended.
